What does the Polar Rose Widget do?
The widget allows you to provide the facial detection, naming and search functionality that is present in the Polar Rose plugin to the users on your website even if they don't have the Polar Rose plugin installed.
How do I enable the Polar Rose Widget on my website?
All you need to do is add a single line of javascript code to your pages and upload an HTML file to your server. You can read more about the configuration options and get a detailed description of the process in the technical specifications document.
IMPORTANT! Please be aware that the this is the first release of the widget and we will be updating and improving it over the coming weeks - some updates/changes may require you to update or modify the javascript code - to receive the latest information about planned updates to the widget send an email to and we will add you to our mailing list.

Terms of Service
In addition to our general Terms of Service the following applies:
1. General:
The Polar Rose Widget, provided by Polar Rose AB is a javascript API which partners (website owners) are welcome to use under the conditions described below.
2. Definitions:
The Polar Rose Widget — The software component as provided by Polar Rose AB at the URL [http://cdn.widget.polarrose.com/polarrosewidget.js] and only at that URL.
The Polar Rose Widget Service — The set of online programming interfaces as provided by Polar Rose AB that provide the server-side functionality necessary for the Polar Rose Widget to function.
3. Conditions:
The partner is allowed under these terms and conditions to use the Polar Rose Widget by embedding a reference to it on a website of their choice. The Polar Rose Widget must use the Polar Rose Widget Service in order to provide its functionality. The use of the Polar Rose Widget Service in any way other than through the Polar Rose Widget is strictly prohibited.
The Polar Rose Widget and the Polar Rose Widget Service are licensed royalty free to partners. Polar Rose AB accepts no liabilities due to the failure or inaccessibility of the Polar Rose Widget and the Polar Rose Widget Service. Polar Rose AB reserves the right to modify the functionality and styles of the Polar Rose Widget (or withdraw the service entirely) and will strive to inform partners in timely manner before such changes.
Polar Rose AB will make gathered image data publicly searchable and viewable on the Polar Rose website but maintain the right to make the same data searchable and viewable on other websites as well. Polar Rose AB will in some circumstances keep, but never expose copies of any original photo. Polar Rose AB also creates reduced crops or thumbnails of images for presentation purposes.
Polar Rose AB reserves the right to cancel any relationship with any partner if any activity of such character that breaks these Terms of Service occurs.
