Polar Rose grew out of computer vision research - the analysis of digital images and video - at the Universities of Lund and Malmö in southern Sweden. We are currently a team of 17, including computer science graduates, mathematics Ph.Ds, a user interface designer, and a technology-fascinated economist on off-roads.
Polar Rose helps users sort, search, and share their digital photos based on the photo content. Using superior computer vision technology Polar Rose can tell who's in a photo.
Our partners are photo sharing and social networking sites as well as mobile device manufacturers and operators who use our services to activate their users' underserved digital photo archives, grow pageviews, enhance social interaction and increase ad revenues.
Contact us if you have any questions, concerns or comments, or consider joining our team if you would like to take part in the fun of building Polar Rose.
